Destination Success

Destination: Success

What does success look like? Every human being looks, thinks, and feels differently; similarly, each person defines success in their own way. Coach John Wooden defines success as, “Peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.” Does success come in the form of dollar bills, acceptance of others, everlasting love and relationships, or does it come in the form of fitting into smaller clothes or earning 1st place on the podium? With Orriant, the first step toward achieving success is defining it for yourself.

Ralph Waldo Emerson quoted that, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” Our job at Orriant is to help each participant define their individual wellness ‘destination’ and to answer the question, what in life brings you joy, satisfaction, and meaning? We challenge all our participants to define and visualize what success looks like in the form of a long-term goal. This long-term goal is documented and visited every time a participant logs into their Orriant account, as a reminder of their ‘destination.’

Once the ‘destination’ of health is defined, a participant, with the help of their Orriant Health Coach, can draw a map in the form of goals. One of the greatest predictors of success is setting smart goals, helping you make slow and steady progress. Orriant helps each participant break down their long-term vision of success into smaller, challenging, yet attainable goals. With this road map in place, we can celebrate each successful step toward their destination and continue forward momentum. Winston Churchill states, “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” Achieving success and reaching goals is not easy and without road blocks. With the help of an Orriant Health Coach, you will be able to navigate different routes or deviations to get to your desired destination. Everyday, Orriant is honored to help our participants, clients, and friends reach their wellness destinations and never settle for anything less. June 11, 2018.
