Darrell Moon

Chief Executive Officer

Darrell founded Orriant in 1996 to change the dynamics of healthcare and give employers some control over the ever increasing costs of the healthcare benefits they offer their employees. Darrell believed that engaging individuals in the management of their own health was a key that had to be inserted back into the economic equation of healthcare. Darrell received both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Healthcare Administration from Brigham Young University. As the CEO, COO, or CFO, Darrell managed medical and psychiatric hospitals throughout the country for over 10 years prior to creating Orriant. He also has more than a decade of experience managing insurance and managed care products. Darrell is a Forbes Leadership Contributor.

 

Tara Meade

Chief Operating Officer

Tara strives to create excitement, engagement, and awareness around the promotion and adoption of healthy lifestyles both personally and professionally. Tara believes that each of our clients, partners, brokers, participants, and Orriant staff have the potential for health greatness given the support and tools to succeed. As a key member of the Orriant executive team, Tara leads the Orriant team focusing on continued quality improvements, develops comprehensive innovative wellness approaches, and integrates Orriant operations with team collaboration. Tara received her Bachelor’s in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Tara furthered her education at the University of Utah where she received her Master’s in Health Promotion and Education. Outside of Orriant, Tara enjoys adventuring with her two young boys, traveling, cooking, skiing, scuba diving, and fostering a strong work-life balance.

Patrice Richter

Chief Clinical Officer

Patrice's organizational skills and love for health promotion have added much to the overall success of Orriant. As the current Chief Clinical Officer for Orriant, she oversees the operations of the clinical department. Excellence and outstanding customer service are her goals and she ensures that each participant in Orriant receives an accurate and engaging Orriant Health Assessment. She supervises the quality of health testing from set-up to take-down and everything in between while also managing the superior performance of all assessment personnel. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University, Patrice worked as a manager for a growing physical therapy company before joining the Orriant team. She is excited to encourage health and wellness in her immediate and national community.

Shawn Stringham

Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer

Shawn's integrated passion for wellness in a business setting brought him to Orriant with a strong desire to make a difference in the health of the people of his nation. As the CBDSO, Shawn oversees the implementation and management business development strategies. Shawn loves to engage individuals in their own health and inspire people to take steps that they thought they could never manage on their own. Shawn has received a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah as well as a Masters of Science in Exercise and Sport Psychology from University of Oregon Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from Westminster College. His work as the National Director of Training and Development also made a positive impacted on public schools across the nation.

Randi Letendre

Chief Financial Officer

With more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, Randi brings a wealth of expertise for improving financial health. She started her career at Ernst and Young in 1988 and gained experience in all the hallmarks of a great financial mind: auditor, staff accountant, financial analyst, Controller, VP of Finance, CFO and more than 10 years of business consulting experience. Randi has worked with clients in various fields including real estate, healthcare, entertainment, non-profit, manufacturing, and high-tech. She received her BA in Business Economics from University of California at Santa Barbara, and earned her CPA in 1991.

Josh Linton

Chief Information Officer

Josh has over 13 years’ experience as Vice President of Technology for VLCM. His experience includes managing a team of engineers that design and implement a wide range of technologies including VOIP, Virtualization, Storage, Managed Services and Networking. He has extensive experience with HP blade servers and multiple SAN vendors. He is responsible for the information technology and computer systems that support Orriant’s goals as well as mapping out both the information and communication technology strategy and policy for Orriant. Josh is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

Stephen Schimpff, MD

Stephen Schimpff, MD is in his fifth decade as a physician, healthcare executive, educator and infectious disease/cancer researcher, Dr. Stephen Schimpff is one of the world's foremost experts on healthcare. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the University of Maryland Medical Center, which includes the world's preeminent trauma center, an NCI certified cancer center, and one of the country's largest kidney transplant programs. Dr. Schimpff also is a professor of medicine at the University Of Maryland School of Medicine where he teaches residents and fellows in oncology and infectious diseases and is a professor of public policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. He appears frequently on national media as an expert on healthcare and has a gift for explaining the complexities of healthcare delivery and the science of medicine in layman's terms. His passion for advancing healthcare for future generations is embodied in his four books on the topic for the general public, including the newly published "Fixing The Primary Care Crisis - Reclaiming the Patient-Doctor Relationship and Returning Healthcare Decisions to You and Your Doctor." In addition to his work in educating the public about how changes in the healthcare landscape will affect them, Dr. Schimpff is internationally recognized for his infectious disease/cancer research at the University of Maryland and the National Cancer Institute. An Eagle Scout, Dr. Schimpff is a 1963 graduate of Rutgers University where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. He obtained his M.D. degree in 1967 at Yale Medical School, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha national honor medical society.

Michael Jennings, MD

Michael Jennings, MD is a board certified family physician with a special interest in preventative care. With over 25 years’ experience in many different practice models, he understands why traditional medicine practices and third party payers cause frustration and disappointment for patients and providers alike. He founded Personal Family Physicians as a direct care practice with none of the restrictions and barriers that insurance companies create. Patients receive personalized, attentive care. He keeps his practice small in order to devote an unprecedented amount of time per patient. Dr. Jennings led the efforts in Utah to establish laws friendly to the direct primary care model of medicine.

Anne Marie Ludovici-Connolly, MS

Anne served as the National Vice President of Health and Productivity for Aon Hewitt, a global human resource outsourcing and consulting firm, for many years where she developed various effective strategic approaches and tools to assist companies across the country with a wide array of Health Management strategies. She also has experience as the Director of Health, Wellness and Productivity for Tufts Health Plan. She is a Population Health and Behavioral Change Executive and advisor to The United States Chamber of Commerce. Anne has served as the Director of the Rhode Island State Government Wellness Initiative and is a Scholar in Residence at the Cancer Prevention Research Center at the University of Rhode Island, home of the Transtheoretical Model of Behavioral Change, under the leadership and world renowned behavioral change expert Dr. James O. Prochaska. Anne has a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island.

Dolores Kelleher

Dolores served as the Director of Health and Wellness Initiatives for Safeway, a national leader in developing workplace wellness initiatives. She was the Vice President of Health and Productivity Initiatives for Optum Health Behavioral Solutions and was the Director of Behavioral Disability and Outreach Programs for United Behavioral Health. She has been a behavioral health care executive, consultant and clinician with over 25 years of experience in both public and private sectors. Dolores has broad experience in the design, implementation, and management of specialty programs with a behavioral focus, including initiatives integrated with prevention, primary care, disability and disease management. She is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of behavioral disability and the impact of mood and behavior on productivity. Her experience includes work with diverse populations and agencies, including employee assistance, managed care, mental health centers, employers, disability plans, and integrated health and wellness programs. More recently her work has focused on consumer engagement, transparency, integration of health and wellness programs in consumer directed health plan design, patient centered medical home models and value based designs.

Gina DeBruin, MBA

As Founder of Fresco Consultants, Gina has a passion for health and wellness and has dedicated her career to client management and leadership roles in healthcare. Gina’s experience includes working with marquis clientele and diverse employee populations, spanning across the country.

Prior to consulting, Gina led the Strategic Partnerships team for Fitbit Wellness. She was responsible for driving business development, and consulting with clients and partners on well-being strategy and effective engagement. She collaborated with key internal partners to ensure the highest level of service, customer satisfaction, and strategic consultation ultimately helping Fitbit partners bring successful programming to their respective clients.

Gina has over 14 years of experience working in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals and population health industries, bringing a breadth of experience.  She graduated with her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and went on to earn her M.B.A from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago.
